The list below is a list of flags that can be used for intents. You can set specific flags on the intent to deliver specific information. Most flags are used to change the behavior of the activity. The setFlags(int) and addFlags(int) methods are used together.

  • FLAG_GRANT_READ_URI_PERMISSION: URI read permission flag
  • FLAG_GRANT_WRITE_URI_PERMISSION: URI write permission flag
  • FLAG_DEBUG_LOG_RESOLUTION: Flag to output debugging information to the log
  • FLAG_FROM_BACKGROUND: Flag to indicate background behavior
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_BROUGHT_TO_FRONT: Flag set by the system when the activity in the task is run again
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TASK: Flag to initialize task
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP: Flags to remove all activities from the same activity in the task to the topmost activity and execute the new activity if the task to be executed already exists
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_WHEN_TASK_RESET: A flag to mark the activity so that the activity can be terminated when the task is restarted.
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_EXCLUDE_FROM_RECENTS: Flags that are not visible in the “Recent Activity List”
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_FORWARD_RESULT: Flags that can pass activity processing results
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_LAUNCHED_FROM_HISTORY: Flags set by the system when executed in the “Recent Activity List”
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_MULTIPLE_TASK: flags to always run the activity on the new task
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK: If there is a task related to the executed activity, execute it within the same task. Otherwise, the flag to execute the activity on the new task
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_NO_ANIMATION: Flags to disable animation when switching activities
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_NO_HISTORY: Flags that prevent running activities from being managed by the task stack
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_RESET_TASK_IF_NEEDED: Flags set by the system when the user starts a task on the home screen or in the “Recent Activity List”
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_REORDER_TO_FRONT: Flags to move the activities in the task to the top of the stack without executing new activities if the executed activities are already in the task
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_SINGLE_TOP: Flag to not redo the activity if the activity to be executed is already at the top of the task stack
  • FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TASK: Flag to initialize task
  • FLAG_RECEIVER_REGISTERED_ONLY: Flags that allow only registered receivers to receive broadcasts
